I am honored to announce my candidacy for District Court Judge for Dallas County.  I pledge to be fair, accountable to the public, flexible, consistent and dedicated.  As you are aware, I am currently serving as City Attorney for the City of Selma and have done since 2000.

Ask anyone who is even slightly familiar with me and you will soon find out that I have a reputation for being impartial, dedicated, hardworking and compassionate.  This was proven while serving as the Domestic Violence Coordinator for Legal Services Corporation of Selma and the Assistant District Attorney for Dallas, Perry Wilcox Hale and Bibb counties

It is my desire as Judge to strengthen the family through law and justice.  I believe in the family and take pride in being a devoted husband to my wife Phenicia, who is employed at Southside High School as a mathematics teacher and a father to our three wonderful children, Jimmy Jr., Jimicia and Jimaya.

Election Day for District Court Judge for Dallas County is June 1, 2010.  If you live within Dallas County and and believe in my vision for building families, I am asking for your vote.
